On the Classicalization of Literature and Image in Han Dynasty:From Institution to Paradigm
In the Han Dynasty, the establishment of a unified country and the construction of a new system of ritual and music civilization showed signs of distinctive cultural features and As the most important cultural forms at that time,Han fu(a traditional literary style, similar to Chinese poems)and Han paintings manifested the needs of the mainstream literati in cultural psychology, etiquette norms and aesthetic consciousness of the time, and formed a specific relationship between Chinese literature and pictures."Zhidu mingwu, there exist differences",in which,Mingwu refers to the names or goods, and zhidu serves as the core, meaning the rules and regulations made official-ly to guide production and exchange of various articles, while the etiquette,in fact, the general guiding principle, has played a rigid constraint on its creation, from the subject matter content to the expression of a certain standard and mode. Therefore, the achievements of Han Fu and Han paintings have been recognized by later generations, and the core content has become increasingly prominent in the continuous creation practice, thus forming a classic paradigm, and eventually achieving the ideal of"perfect literary quality".This classic paradigm has a profound in-fluence on the later literature, artistic creation and the transformation of the relationship between literature and paintings.Correctly interpreting the original meaning of the Han fu's essence of"He qi zu yi cheng wen,lie jin xiu er wei zhi(a piece of writing composed based on different ways and skillful use of speech and rhetoric)",and deep-ly analyzing Han paintings'connotation of"Tu hua tian di,pin lei qun sheng(paintings drawn about varieties of plants and animals with similarities)"can be the premise and key to the study of literature and images in the Han Dynasty.
