Chinese paintings,inheriting characteristic Chinese cultural factors,stand unique among worlds'artistic styles.Chinese paintings differ from watercolor paintings in color expression,focus angles.and perspective princi-ples,etc.With the introduction of watercolor paintings into China,there starts to appear mutual influence in paint-ing techniques,mutual learning in artistic forms and integration in terms of media between these two artistic forms.Such cross-culture interaction will not only expand watercolor paintings'ways of expression and connotation,but promote Chinese paintings inheritance and further development.
