Comparative study on introduction of seven blueberry cultivars in Hangzhou City
In order to solve the problem that relatively less varieties of blueberry were cultivated in Zhejiang Province,seven blueberry varieties including O'Neill,Coastal,Biloxi,Mist,Emerald,Spring High and Draper,were used as test materials to study the nutritional growth status,appear-ance quality and intrinsic quality.The results showed that the Emerald had the largest single fruit weight up to 1.86 g,and the contents of soluble solids,anthocyanin and chlorophyll in flesh were much higher than those of other 6 varieties,which could be promoted as a characteristic blueberry variety.Comprehensive analysis showed that Emerald had better performance in Hangzhou,and it could be promoted and cultivated.
