Bioinformatics analysis of CML gene family in sweet cherry
Calmodulin-like protein(CML)is an important protein in response to stimuli dur-ing plant growth and development. In this study, based on the whole genome sequence of sweet cherry, the members of sweet cherry CML gene family were identified using bioinformatics methods, and the physicochemical properties, chromosome localization, gene structure, and promoter ele-ments were analyzed. The results showed that there were 49 genes in the PavCML family, which were unevenly distributed on chromosomes 1 to 8,and the subcellular localization was located in the cytoplasm, chloroplast and nucleus.Analysis of promoter cis-acting elements showed that PavCML family genes were involved in the response to a wide range of elements.Combined with transcriptome data, the RT-PCR results showed that the relative expression of PavCML was high in the fruit split-ting site, indicating that the gene may be involved in the fruit splitting process, which provided a theoretical basis for the functional identification of CML family members.
