Introduction performance and cultivation techniques of Luli apples in Dongping County
In order to enrich the types of apple varieties in Dongping county,meet the market demand,and increase the income of fruit farmers,the new variety of Luli apple was introduced from the Shandong Institute of Pomology for trial planting in 2018.The botanical characteristics,pheno-logical period,growth and fruiting habits,fruit economic traits as well as stress resistance were com-prehensively observed.Luli apple has good comprehensive traits and phenotypes,which can effec-tively fill the market vacancy of early maturing apple,and is worth promoting on a large scale.
