Development status and prospects of sweet cherry industry in Yantai City
Yantai is the birthplace and main cultivation area of sweet cherry in China.In order to further enhance the development level of Yantai sweet cherry industry and achieve high quality and efficiency,this article summarized the current status,challenges and future prospects of sweet cherry industry in Yantai.Several strategies were recommend to improve the level of Yantai sweet cherry industry,including speeding up the breeding of new varieties and constructing a high-quali-ty seedling breeding technology system,developing modern facility cultivation,establishing stand-ardized demonstration bases,strengthening the research and application of postharvest preservation and storage,and strengthening brand construction,which empowered new high-quality productivity to Yantai sweet cherry industry.
