The promoting effect of potassium on the growth and development of fruit trees,as well as the mechanism of improving fruit quality,increasing fruit yield and enhancing disease resist-ance were elaborated.The suitable application time and amount,and the different application meth-ods and characteristics in the growth and development of fruit trees were summarised.
