Introduction performance and cultivation techniques of Qiuhongzhu nectarine in Fenghuang County
Qiuhongzhu is a medium mature and excellent nectarine variety cultivated in Juxian County,Shandong Province.It was introduced to Fenghuang County,Hunan Province for trial culti-vation in 2018.After 5 years of observation,it shows strong stress resistance,high fruit setting rate,and excellent fruit quality.The average single fruit weight is 63 g,with a maximum of 126 g.The fruit matures in late July,the fruit matured,with a green white color on the surface and a bright red area of over 85％.The flesh is white,free of the core,hard solute,crispy and sweet,with a soluble solid content of about 17.5％.It has a winter jujube flavor,is durable for storage and transporta-tion,and is highly popular at a high price.However,there are problems such as poor waterlogging tolerance and easy fruit cracking during continuous rainfall during the mature season.The key points of high-quality and efficient cultivation techniques were summarized.
