Overview of the occurrence and prevention of Bactrocera dorsalis in the fruit and vegetable areas of northern China
Bactrocera dorsalis Hendel,is one of the important pests in fruit and vegetable pro-duction areas in China.In recent years,with the development of regional climate,logistics,and changes in planting technology,the northern fruit and vegetable areas have also been affected and shown different characteristics from the southern.This article summarizes the occurrence range and characteristics of the B.dorsalis in the northern fruit and vegetable areas,clarifies the overwintering problem and response measures,compares the actual prevention and control effects and technical advantages and disadvantages from five aspects:chemistry,physics,agriculture,biology,and new technologies and equipment,and believes that bagging and chemical prevention and control are still the first choices for efficient control of this insect."Prevention first,external prevention of invasion,internal prevention of spread,comprehensive prevention and control,and unified prevention and control"are still important principles and key strategies that must be adhered to in the prevention and control of citrus fruit flies.
