Investigation on early yield of Y-shaped hedge wall trees in Huangjing pear and key cultivation techniques
Huangjing pear performs well in Shandong region,with early fruiting,self pollina-tion,and high yield.The investigation and analysis of Y-shaped pear seedlings showed that in the fourth year of seedling planting,they entered the peak fruiting period,with a total of 87 293 bran-ches per 666.7 m2.Among them,long branches,medium branches,and short branches accounted for 12.02％,7.74％and 80.24％of the total branches,respectively,with a yield of 3 330 kg.And the rey points of the cultivation techniques were introduced.
