Technical report on the comparative trial of sweet cherry introduction in the Yellow River alluvial plain
In the alluvial plain of the Yellow River,five sweet cherry varieties,Meizao,Zaoda-guo,Youyi,Hongdeng,and Ruby,were introduced and trial planted in 2018.Their characteris-tics,including growth and fruiting habits,fruit economic traits,stress resistance,phenological peri-od,etc.,were observed and compared.Comprehensive evaluation showed that Zaodaguo and Meizao performed well,with open tree posture,moderate growth,early high yield,large fruit size,high soluble solid content,high hardness,high edibility,excellent quality,strong stress resistance,and suitable for development in Chengwu County.Introduced the key points of cultivation tech-niques.
