The introduction performance and cultivation techniques of late-ripening apple variety Ruixianghong in Shangqiu of Henan Province
Ruixianghong is a new late-ripening apple cultivar selected by Northwest A&F Uni-versity,and it was introduced and tested in Shangqiu area in 2019.It produces attractive cylindrical fruit with fruit shape index of 0.98.The average fruit is 208.9 g.95%of the fruit surface is cov-ered with bright red.The flesh is yellowish-white,hard and crispy juicy.The soluble solids con-tent is 15.2%and the titratable acid content is 0.25%.It tastes sour and sweet,with a very good quality,and ripens at late October.Ruixianghong has good disease resistance and comprehensive characters,so it is suitable for cultivation in Shangqiu of Henan province.The main cultivation tech-nigues of Ruixianghong were introduced.
