Research on the Construction of the Competency Model for"Dual Qualified"Teachers in Vocational Colleges under the Background of the"Double High-level Plan"
With the implementation of the"Double High-level Plan",vocational colleges have put forward higher requirements for the cultivation of"double qualified"teachers.Therefore,a deep understanding of their competency elements is crucial for improving the teaching quality of teachers.Through literature review and expert interviews,the core competency elements of"dual qualified"teachers were preliminarily identified.Based on empirical data from 196 teachers in Jiangsu Province,an in-depth analysis was conducted to propose a competency model for"dual qualified"teachers in vocational colleges under the background of the"Double High-level Plan",which consists of five core dimensions:personal traits,professional practice ability,scientific research and social service ability,vocational teaching ability,and professional ethics.The construction of the competency framework for"dual qualified"teachers provides a more scientific and standardized basis for the recognition and cultivation of"dual qualified"teachers in vocational colleges,and provides useful references for the construction of the teaching staff in vocational colleges.
