Public Value Implications and Practical Dimensions of Modernizing Governance in Vocational Colleges
The modernization of governance in vocational colleges is an important guarantee for promoting the high-quality development of vocational education and accelerating the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents.At present,the modernization of governance in vocational colleges still faces challenges such as multi-directional governance goals,difficulties in integrating the interests of governance subjects,imperfect governance mechanisms,and risks of alienation of governance tools.The theory of public value not only clarifies the value demands of modernizing the governance of vocational colleges,but also provides means to support the modernization of governance.At the same time,the modernization of governance in vocational colleges is a process of creating public value.Its promotion requires measures such as firm governance goals,integration of governance subjects,improvement of governance mechanisms,and optimization of governance tools to achieve co-creation of public value and meet the increasingly diverse and personalized higher vocational education needs of the people.
