The Focuses and Paths of the Construction of Forest"Grain Depot"from the Perspective of All-encompassing Approach to Food
(1) Background——Forest is an important resource of terrestrial ecology.The construction of forest"grain depot"has the basic role of consolidating the stable production and supply of grain,which is the realistic re-quirement of practicing the all-encompassing approach to food and building a diversified food supply system.It is necessary to give full play to the advantage and potential of forest"grain depot",promote the value transforma-tion of forest ecological products.How to practice the all-encompassing approach to food and promote the con-struction of forest"grain depot"has become an important issue in the new era.(2) Methods——Firstly,this paper systematically analyzed the construction of forest"grain depot"in Chi-na from the perspectives of forest food germplasm,food supply,food nutrition and food security by using data a-nalysis method.Then,taking"production system-management system-industrial system"as the analytical frame-work,based on the actual policies and theoretical researches of China's forestry and grain industry,this paper sorted out and summarized the strategic focuses of the construction of China's forest"grain depot".Finally,this paper put forward the paths selection of the construction of China's forest"grain depot"by using the method of combining theory and practice.(3) Results——The specific situation of China's forest"grain depot"construction is:the advantages and challenges of forest food germplasm resources coexist,there is much room for improvement in the quality and effi-ciency of forest food production,the development of forest food nutrition has entered a period of deep develop-ment,and the strategic value and ecological value of forest food are interdependent.The construction of forest"grain depot"is an important part of building a high-quality food security system.Its strategic focuses are:First,systematically build a forest food production system of supply and demand matching,efficient operation and green development.Second,accelerate the development of a forest food management system with diverse subjects,sound systems and mature theories.Third,build a forest food industry system with complete categories,strong competition and rich functions.(4) Conclusions and Discussions——The paths of constructing China's forest"grain depot"are:First,strengthen the supporting role of improved varieties in improving forest food yield per unit area,and constantly consolidate the germplasm foundation of forest"grain depot".Strengthen the integration process of introducing foreign species,collecting wild species and protecting famous and special local species and jointly advance the research on breeding technology and the protection of new varieties.Second,continue to improve the quality of forest food management subjects,promote the upgrading of forest food production and management.Strengthen the integration of good forests,good varieties,good machinery,good methods and good systems,explore the in-novation of forest food compound management model,and strive to build forest food industry cluster.Third,build a strategic forest food supply chain system,promote the construction of forest food brand power.Continuously op-timize the structure of forest food supply chain and build a forest food brand system with international influence.Fourth,improve the linkage mechanism of forest"four repositories"to promote the high-quality development of forest food.
