Design ofspray-box and roller continuous hot press for plywood production
According to the process requirements of plywood production and draw a lesson from the structure of roller type veneer dryer,a continuous hot press is designed special for plywood production with roller pressure and spray box heating.Describing the structure and working principle of the spray box roller continuous hot press,designing the sectional size of the press and calculating the working parameters of the hydraulic system and the roller drive sys-tem and the annual capacity of the press.By using ANSYS Fluent software,the velocity uniformity of spray box holes'thermal current and heating uniformity of plywood slab are numerical analyzed.The results of design and anal-ysis show that the press can meet the demand of plywood production in structural design,and can provide reference for the development and exploitation of continuous hot press for plywood.
