Performance Simulation Analysis of Inclined Single Screw Fertilizer Apparatus based on EDEM
In order to improve the uniformity of fertilizer discharge of the traditional spiral fertilizer apparatus,a tilt-ing single screw fertilizer apparatus was designed on the basis of determining the cause of the uneven fertilizer dis-charge through simulation analysis.Through theoretical analysis,the key parameters of the fertilizer apparatus were determined,and the fertilizer discharge process of the inclined single spiral fertilizer apparatus was simulated by EDEM simulation,and the single factor test was carried out with the speed of the screw fertilizer discharge wheel as the test factor and the variation coefficient of fertilizer discharge uniformity as the test index.The test results show that compared with the traditional spiral fertilizer,the variation coefficient of the uniformity of fertilizer discharge in-creased by 73.26%.Different speeds of the screw exhaust wheel had a significant effect on the uniformity variation coefficient of the discharge(P<0.0001).At the same time,with the increase of speed,the uniformity variation coef-ficient of fertilizer discharge gradually decreases,and the fertilizer discharge uniformity becomes better.And the best effect was achieved in the range of 75~120 r/min of screw discharge fertilizer wheel,and the variation coefficient of fertilizer discharge uniformity was stable at 2.05%~4.04%,which is in line with the technical specification for the quality evaluation of fertilizer applying machinery.This study can provide a reference for the optimized design of spi-ral fertilizer dischargers.
