Finite Element Analysis of the Frame of 4U-1600ZC Potato Combine Harvester
The rack is the main load-bearing component of potato harvester, whether the rack design is reasonable or not directly affects the safety and reliability of potato harvester. This paper takes the 4U-1600ZC potato combine har-vester frame as the research object, constructs the three-dimensional model of the frame based on Solidworks soft-ware,and carries out finite element analysis and modal analysis of the frame through Ansys Workbench software. The maximum stress generated by the rack under full load is 193 MPa,and the maximum deformation is 3.75 mm,and the first 6 orders of the rack's intrinsic frequency is 11.669~24.518 Hz through modal analysis, which is much smal-ler than the work excitation frequency, and no resonance phenomenon occurs during operation.Through the light-weight design of the stress-rich part of the frame, the optimized frame reduces the mass of the frame by 22.8%while meeting the working conditions, thus realizing the goal of lightweight. The study can provide a reference for the struc-tural optimization of potato harvester.
