In order to improve the forest and grassland fire prevention capacity in the eastern end of Qil-ian Mountains,a study was conducted from 2017 to 2021 on the occurrence of fires in different locations,times,vegetation types,fire sources,and affected areas.By analyzing and reviewing materials,the oc-currence patterns of forest and grassland fires in the eastern end of the Qilian Mountains were summa-rized.And based on the law of fire occurrence,preventive measures have been proposed,which have a certain guiding role in preventing forest and grassland fires in the Eastern end of the Qilian Mountains and even the entire Qilian Mountains region.
