To address the technical issues related to fertilization for high-yield and quality cultivation of ju-jube orchards on hilly slopes in the semi-arid region of Western Liaoning,a study was conducted based on the cultivation conditions of local jujube orchards.The research aimed to develop a rational fertilization system suitable for high-yield and quality cultivation of jujube on hilly slopes in this region.This paper analyzes the necessity of rational fertilization for jujube on hilly slopes,summarizing techniques from four key aspects:suf-ficient basal fertilization,reasonable topdressing,timely foliar spraying,and fertilization precautions.Demon-stration applications have shown balanced fertilization,improved fertilizer utilization efficiency,and significant economic benefits,providing technical guidance for scientific fertilization to local jujube farmers.
