The influences of four factors including substrates,hormone types,hormone levels and cuttings types with three different treatments on softwood cutting of Robinia pseudoacacia ‘ Frisia’ were analyzed by orthogonal test in this study.The resuhs demonstrated that the dominant factor infected rooting of R.pseudoacacia ‘ Frisia’ was the type of hormone,followed by the types of cuttings and substrates.The concentration of hormone slightly influenced on rooting.The optimal treatment for rooting was using the middle of the softwood cuttings which was soaked into the 500 mg/L IBA solution for 2 hours with the substrates blended by perlite,turves and vermiculite (V∶ V∶ V =1∶ 1∶1),and the rooting ratio could reach 82.19％.
