Research on design methods of smart bed products based on user demands
Smart beds have been accelerated into residents'family life,because they play an indispensable role in en-hancing the home awesome experience and improving people's sense of well-being.To effectively improve the user satisfaction of smart beds,it is desired to ensure that designers in the design process can scientifically obtain the user demand weights of smart bed products,rationally use the design parameters in production,and objectively evaluate the design solutions in the design of smart beds.In this study,a smart bed product design model incorporating the ana-lytic hierarchy process-axiomatic design-technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(AHP-AD-TOPSIS)was proposed to avoid the phenomenon of smart bed design deviation from user requirements due to the designer's subjectivity.Firstly,multiple channels were used to mine the user demand for smart beds,and real user de-mands for smart furniture was collected.The user demand hierarchy analysis model was constructed using the AHP method,and the geometric average method was utilized to calculate the weight value of each level index.Secondly,according to the axiom of independence and the axiom of information in the AD theory to judge the design reasonable-ness and optimal solution,the user demand was transformed into design parameters,and the smart bed scheme design was carried out according to the obtained design parameters.Finally,TOPSIS was applied to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the design solutions and existing solutions to verify the feasibility of the design solutions under the gui-dance of the method,and ultimately proposed design solutions to meet user needs.By taking the smart bed as an exam-ple,the intelligent furniture product design model integrating AHP-AD-TOPSIS can clearly show the weight value of user needs and standardize the subsequent design and evaluation process of intelligent furniture products.The method can effectively guide the user demand mining and transformation,design decision-making,and program preference of smart bed products,which can address the problems of insufficient insight into the user's sleep emotion and inadequate grasp of the design requirements in the existing smart bed design,providing new ideas for the research and develop-ment of smart furniture and offering references for the innovative design and program evaluation of other smart furni-ture.
