Analysis of variable pump function characteristics and hydraulic system performance of horizontal multi-opening hot press
This study focused on investigating the pump function characteristics and hydraulic system performance of the horizontal multi-opening hot press with an annual production of 100 000 m3 of plywood.Based on the structure and requirements of the horizontal multi-opening hot press,the swash plate axial variable displacement piston pump VPCLRDU2 was used as the power and control components,the telescopic two-stage cylinder structure was adopted for the fast cylinder,and the pressure cylinder was utilized as the actuator.A dual-variable pump hydraulic system was constructed.Taking the hydraulic system as the research object,according to the working principle of VPCLRDU2,the simulation model was established and the bench test was designed,which laid a foundation for analyzing the efficiency and electro-hydraulic ratio,torque limitation and pressure compensator control functions of VPCLRDU2 and verifying the accuracy of VPCLRDU2 simulation model.Through the analysis of VPCLRDU2 efficiency and the functional control characteristics,when the rated pressure of VPCLRDU2 reached 35 MPa,its volumetric efficiency was 96%and total efficiency was 91%,which met the efficiency requirements of factory acceptance tests and proved that the pump has high efficiency characteristics.In the electro-hydraulic proportional control stage,the flow was linearly related to the control current.In the torque limitation and pressure compensator control stages,it can adjust the flow according to the load pressure change,which helped to avoid motor overload and flow loss,showing that the simulation model can realize the functional control and high functional integration.The simulation results were basically consistent with the bench test results,validating the high accuracy of the model.According to the working principle of the dual variable pump hydraulic system,the simulation model of the hydraulic system was developed.The results showed that the steady-state error of the speed control system was about 1%,and its closing and opening time were less than 15 s.By applying this hydraulic system,it took about 20 s to reach 25 MPa,which can timely recharge pressure to meet pressure holding requirements.The steady-state error of its pressure control system was 3%.The results verified that the system can realize the effective control of the speed,displacement,and pressure,meeting the requirements of plywood production.This study also proved that the system had the characteristics of low energy consumption and high stability.
