Exploration of bookshelf design charm factors using evaluation grid method
This study was aimed at thoroughly understanding user preferences and requirements in bookshelf design, providing furniture designers and manufacturers with valuable insights for meeting user expectations.Through the application of the evaluative construction method, the intricate relationship between users'inclinations and the stylistic design elements of bookshelves was investigated, ultimately proposing elements that resonated with user demands and contributed to an enhanced overall user experience. To commence the research,an exhaustive collection and meticulous selection of existing standalone bookshelves were undertaken, serving as the foundational pool of experimental samples.Through extensive user interviews, evaluative construction diagrams were meticulously drawn, capturing the nuanced preferences and expectations of users in the realm of bookshelf design. The subsequent extraction of attractiveness factors played a pivotal role in identifying key elements that contributed significantly to the overall allure of bookshelves. The quantitative theory Type I was then applied to establish a robust mathematical model using SPSS software. This model facilitated a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationships between higher-level and lower-level attractiveness factors.By uncovering the mathematical underpinnings, this study aimed at elucidating the connections between user preferences and the specific stylistic design elements of bookshelves. In the final phase of the study, the identified"fashionably elegant"attractiveness factor was extracted as the focal point for the experimental bookshelf stylistic design.Subsequent validation analyses were conducted to ensure the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed design elements. The research findings underscored the significance of the proposed methodology in enhancing the overall allure of bookshelf designs, offering tangible insights for designers and manufacturers seeking to align their products with user expectations. This research,by unraveling the intricate dynamics of user preferences in bookshelf design, not only contributes valuable insights to the field but also provides a methodological framework for future studies. As designers and researchers explore the implications of this research,it is anticipated that the study will serve as a foundational resource, guiding the evolution of bookshelf designs that resonate more closely with the diverse needs and preferences of users.
