Cultivation Techniques for Establishing a Scientific Close Planting Garden of Dwarf Rootstock Apple in Weining County the Suitable Apple Growing Area of the Cold and Cool Highland in Southwest China
Dwarf rootstock apple dense planting cultivation is an intensive and modern cultivation model for apple that saves land,la-bor,water,fertilizer,and medicinal resources,and achieves high yield and quick results.Since 2015,Weining County,Guizhou Province has built a dense planting orchard for short stock apples covering an area of 10000 acres,which has achieved significant eco-nomic benefits.This article summarizes the experience and technology of site selection,variety selection,seedling quality requirements,support grid,drip irrigation system with integrated water and fertilizer,and nurturing and management of the orchard,in order to provide reference and reference for fruit farmers.
