This article presents an intelligent evaluation of agricultural land suitability based on GIS lightweight development technolo-gy,reviews its research background,and proposes the important position of agricultural land suitability evaluation in the new era.Sum-marized its research significance,summarized its application research status and development trends from both domestic and foreign di-mensions,and drew relevant research conclusions.From the perspective of national development,the application prospects of GIS light-weight development technology for intelligent evaluation of arable land suitability were explored.
