Study on the Difference of Fruit Morphology and Gutta-Percha Content of the Samara from Different Places in Eucommia ulmoides Oliv
In this study,the Eucommia samara of 7 producing areas in China were selected as research objects,random sampling method was adopted,and statistical analysis was carried out by SPSS software.The results showed that there were significant differences in fruit morphology and Gutta-percha content among different producing areas,which were closely related to the environment and climate condi-tions.Jianhe,Guizhou,with a high of 13.16%,and Baoding,Hebei,with a low of 9.34%.The higher the latitude and the longer the an-nual sunshine hours,the lower the Gutta-percha content of samara.The longer the frost-free period,the higher the gum content of sam-ara.
