Rocky desertification is an important environmental problem faced by karst areas in southwestern China,seriously affecting the local ecological environment and socio-economic development.As a county under the jurisdiction of Honghe Hani and Yi Autono-mous Prefecture in Yunnan Province,the problem of rocky desertification is equally severe in Jianshui County.In order to effectively solve this problem,comprehensive control of rocky desertification has become an urgent task.Among them,forestry construction,as one of the important contents of comprehensive control of rocky desertification,plays a significant role in restoring vegetation,maintai-ning soil and water,and improving ecological benefits.The article introduces the basic situation of rocky desertification in Jianshui County,analyzes the main content of forestry construction in the comprehensive management of rocky desertification,and finally propo-ses specific countermeasures and suggestions from scientific planning,selection of suitable tree species,and adoption of scientific planting techniques.
