With the continuous acceleration of urbanization,highway construction has become an integral part of modern transportation systems.To achieve the sustainable development of highway greening projects,it is essential to organically integrate ecological and landscape greening in their implementation.This article,based on systematic forestry science and technology information research,ex-plores the current status and challenges of highway greening projects and proposes a series of sustainable development recommendations,including key measures related to ecological landscape planning,plant species selection,and the application of eco-logical engineering technologies.This study aims to provide a scientific basis for the future development of highway greening projects,promoting the harmonious coexistence of urban transportation and the natural environment.
