Analysis of the Current Situation and Exploration of Development Paths of General Education Elective Courses in Private Colleges and Universities under the Background of Moral Education——Taking C School as an Example
In the context of moral education and talent cultivation,the elective courses of general education in private colleges and uni-versities are facing numerous challenges.Taking C School as an example,this paper conducts an in-depth investigation into the current status of its general education elective courses and identifies issues related to resource allocation,educational philosophy,teaching quality,and course selection guidance.In response to these issues,this paper proposes development paths such as reassessing resource allocation strategies,strengthening teacher training,optimizing course selection guidance and services,aiming to enhance the teaching quality of general education elective courses and promote the comprehensive development of students.This research has reference signif-icance for the construction and development of general education elective courses in other private colleges and universities.
