Effects of Forest Management on Forest Carbon Sink and Improvement Measures——A Case Study of Forest Management on Carbon Sink in Conghua,Guangdong Province
With the global climate change becoming more and more serious,forests,as an important carbon sink resource,play a key role in mitigating greenhouse effect and maintaining ecological balance.In order to give full play to the role of forest management on forest carbon sink,this paper first summarizes the importance of forest carbon sink,and discusses the direct effect of forest management on improving forest carbon sink capacity and its indirect mechanism.Finally,taking the forest carbon sink project in Conghua area of Guangdong as an example,this paper expounds how to improve the carbon sink capacity of forest ecosystem through scientific manage-ment and technology application from the aspects of low-efficiency forest transformation,mountain closure and afforestation,afforesta-tion,forest and environmental protection,so as to provide practical reference for relevant personnel.
