Application Analysis of Remote Sensing Technology in Forest Resources Investigation
Forest resources survey is committed to comprehensive assessment of woodland coverage,tree species composition,growth status and change trend,aiming at providing scientific basis for forest management.In the face of vast forest land,traditional methods are often limited by the huge investment of time and human resources.Remote sensing technology has innovated the method of forest re-source survey with its unique advantages.The technology can quickly obtain a wide range of surface data through sensors carried by sat-ellites or aircraft,and can realize continuous monitoring of forest covered areas.This paper discusses the application of remote sensing technology in the investigation of forest resources in Zhangmutou forest farm.
