Qinghai spruce is an important tree species unique to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.However,due to its special growth envi-ronment,it is susceptible to various diseases and insect pests.This article summarizes the main types of diseases and insect pests af-fecting Qinghai spruce and their impacts through field investigations and experimental research.It discusses the current main control techniques and proposes more targeted control measures.
