This study explores the application and effects of the forest ranger system in the development of grassroots forestry.Firstly,a five-level forest ranger system from the provincial level to the village level was established,and the tasks of"five greening"and the design of seven supporting facilities were clarified.In practical implementation,the forest ranger system has had a positive impact on the ecosystem services value of grassroots forestry.Taking the comparative data from 2019 and 2020 as an example,the implementation of the forest ranger system significantly increased the total value of ecosystem services in the region.In conclusion,considering the complex terrain and environmental issues in China,as well as the imperfect grassroots forestry management system,the introduction of the forest ranger system can effectively enhance the value and management efficiency of forest ecosystems.
