This article uses Midas Civil software to establish calculation models of simply supported steel box beams for different beam heights,bottom plate widths,top plate thicknesses,bottom plate thicknesses,and web plate thicknesses to the same cross-sectional area.Compare and analyze the strength and stiffness values to determine the main influencing factors for the cross-sectional design of simply sup-ported steel box beams.
