Under the promotion of the new engineering education concept,the teaching reform and innovation of architectural construc-tion course,as an important basic course in the field of architecture,are particularly important.This article takes the teaching of Build-ing Construction Ⅰ course at Taiyuan University as an example,analyzes the main problems in teaching,and then focuses on the practi-cal practices of building the"golden course"of Building Construction Ⅰ course under the background of new engineering.This will help improve the quality of teaching and better cultivate applied talents with innovative spirit and practical ability.
