Tourist Citizenship Behavior Research:Current Situation,Challenges and Future Prospects
Tourist citizenship behavior is not only an important measure to improve tourists'travel experi-ence,but also a key guideline to improve destination environment and services.It represents a value co-creation through two-way efforts between tourists and destinations.This paper reviews relevant literature on tourist citizenship behavior both at home and abroad,sorts out its concept,measurement dimensions and research status,constructs a research framework to reveal the influencing factors and outcome effects.The following prospects for future research are proposed:Clarifying the differences between tourist citi-zenship behavior and customer citizenship behavior,and defining norms for tourist citizenship behavior;Developing a scale for tourist citizenship behavior in virtual tourism communities to enrich the research of online tourist citizenship behavior;Enriching the research on the influence mechanism of tourist citizenship behavior and refining the research framework of tourist citizenship behavior.The purpose of this study is to provide reference for deepening the research on tourist citizenship behavior,and to provide reference for the development of new quality productivity and high-quality development of tourist destinations.
