The old revolutionary base areas have profound red cultural resources,which are not only the comprehensive embodiment of the revolutionary spirit of the CPC,but also contain lofty revolutionary ideals and revolutionary beliefs,and are of great significance in promoting the inheritance of red genes.Under the background of rural revitalization strategy,this paper takes the traditional villages in the old revolutionary base area of Dabie Mountains in Anhui Province as the research object,identifies and extracts material culture landscape and non-material cultural landscape genes,interprets the genealogical characteristics of the red cultural landscape gene map in the old revolutionary base area,and analyzes the inheritance ways of the red gene in the old revolutionary base area villages from the perspective of cultural landscape gene theory,.The paper holds that using spatial carriers to preserve the main genes of red cultural landscapes can empower the revitalization of red culture in old villages.Digital media should be utilized to repair the attached genes of red cultural landscapes and to continue the red bloodline of old villages.We should integrate local culture,activate red cultural landscape,extend genes,and enhance the connotation of red culture in old villages.
