Investigation on Resource Status of AM Fungi in Urban Ecosystems
In October 2010, root zone soil samples were collected from the part of vegetation in Beijing, Qingdao, Jinan, Nanjing, Wuhan and Guiyang, China to isolate and identify arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. Total 52 species of AM fungi spores were isolated, including 34 species oi Glomus, 14 species of Acaulospra, 1 species of Gigaspora, 2 species of Scutellospora and 1 species of Entrophospora . Among these species, Glomus and Acaulospra were isolated from all the six cities.
