多价噬菌体Bp7尾丝蛋白gp37结构分析

利用多种生物信息学软件对分离的一株多价烈性噬菌体Bp7尾丝蛋白gp37进行结构预测及分析.结果表明:尾丝蛋白gp37与多株T4类噬菌体的尾丝蛋白亲缘关系较近,但与T4噬菌体尾丝蛋白亲缘关系远.氨基酸序列保守性分析显示Bp7尾丝蛋白gp37序列呈马赛克特征,N端序列高度保守,C端变异性强,存在亮氨酸拉链基元.二级结构分析显示其结构特征与T4噬菌体尾丝蛋白的二级结构具有相似性,但其C末端多出一个α螺旋区域.本研究结果将为Bp7尾丝蛋白gp37的基因改造并进一步拓宽噬菌体Bp7的宿主范围提供依据.
Structural Analysis on Tail Fiber Protein gp37 of Polyvalent Phage Bp7
Several bioinformatics tools were used to predict and analyze the structure of protein gp37,the tail fiber protein of a polyvalent phage Bp7.The results were listed as follows:Tail fiber protein gp37 had a high homology with many T4-like phage strains,but far away from T4 phage.Conservation analysis of amino acid sequence of gp37 showed a mosaic character;the sequence was highly conserved at the N-terminal and variable at the C-terminal;there were Leucine zipper motifs at the C-terminal.Second structural analysis of gp37 showed that the second structure of gp37 was similar to that of T4,except α-helix domain at the end of C-terminal of gp37.These results will provide information for broadening the host range of phage Bp7 through gene modification of tail fiber gp37.
