Facing the complicated clinical symptoms and epidemic situation of African swine fever,the pressure of prevention and control of African swine fever in grass-roots veterinary laboratories is increas-ing.This paper systematically reviews the detection processes of African swine fever virus in molecular bi-ology and serology,summarizes the standardized operation and precautions,analyzes the results of false positive and false negative,and puts forward preventive measures from the aspects of quality management and biosafety management of veterinary laboratories.In an effort to enhance the detection level of African swine fever in grass-roots veterinary laboratories and boost the correct detection rate of positive samples.
