This research confirmed that"Lü"in Annotation of the Spring and Autumn Annals as Lü Benzhong according to the contents of the book written by Lü Benzhong.As a pioneer interpreting Classical Scholarship with Daoism in the Song Dynasty,Lü Benzhong had a unique understanding of The Spring and Autumn Annals.Lü Benzhong opposed interpretation of Classical Scholarship by the textual meaning in the Han Dynasty,and advocated the interpretation of Classical Scholarship with Daoism and citation from Classical Scholarship.His discussion on destiny and cultivation and other issues promoted the further maturity of Daoism to Confucian School of Idealist Phi-losophy.
