Drama is an important carrier to promote aesthetic education in colleges and universities.The inte-gration of drama into aesthetic education in colleges and universities can not only enrich the teaching contents and teaching methods plus aesthetic theory but also promote the identification of students'correct senses of values,broaden students'vision in artistic knowledge,and improve students'aesthetic competence.Some colleges and universities emphasize intellectual education,but neglect the problems such as insufficient attention to aesthetic ed-ucation,insufficient teachers of aesthetic education,and unreasonable curriculum design of aesthetic education.Drama is an important approach to promote the development of aesthetic education because of its educational,inter-esting and artistic characteristics.This research suggests that the integration of drama into aesthetic education should be differentiated and systematized in curriculum design for further refining and classicizing theatrical works.Meanwhile,a variety of teaching methods should be developed to carry out diversified drama practice activities with the help of multimedia and the Internet,so as to build intelligent aesthetic education facilities and form a new ecol-ogy of drama aesthetic education.
