The"great political and ideological course"is a new topic of reform,innovation and development around the political and ideological courses in the new era.The concept provides abundant teaching contents of pa-triotism education for college students,clarifies the direction of teaching reform,and displays distinct value of the times and practical significance.This research suggests that we should implement the concept of"great political and ideological course"in patriotism education,make good use of"great classroom",and expand the contents of patri-otism education.Meanwhile,we should construct the"great platform",and renovate the carriers of patriotism edu-cation.Furthermore,we should develop"great teachers",and optimize the quality of teaching staff for patriotism education.
