From"the Other"to"the Subject"—Reflections on Promoting the Common Prosperity of People with Disabilities with Social Capital
The common prosperity of people with disabilities mainly includes three aspects:the solid material basis,the fair distribution system,and the joint participation of the society and people with disabilities.At present,the support and guarantee provided for common prosperity of people with disabilities mainly focus on material capital and human capital.However,the common prosperity of people with disabilities is inseparable from the effectiveness of social capital,because rich social capital can lay a social network foundation for the common prosperity,promote the establishment of social trust,and promote the formation of reciprocal norms of"people with disabilities and peo-ple without disabilities",which provide more possibilities for achieving common prosperity of people with disabili-ties.However,due to the constraints of the external social environment and the lack of internal endogenous motiva-tion,the privation of the action social capital,structural social capital and cognitive social capital to achieve com-mon prosperity of people with disabilities restrict the effectiveness of social capital in the process of achieving com-mon prosperity.Therefore,this research suggests that we should jointly promote the increment of social capital from policy environment,social environment and individual motivation,and give full play to the role of social capital in the process of achieving common prosperity of people with disabilities.
