Impact of Perceived Warmth and Perceived Competence of Humanoid Service Robots on Acceptance Willingness—The Moderating Role of Anthropomorphic Dimensions
The researchers explored the impact of perceived warmth and perceived competence on user's will-ingness to accept service robots, and analyzed the moderating mechanism of anthropomorphic dimension and the mediating role of user's emotional experience. The results show that when the service robot's face presents anthro-pomorphic features, the perceived warmth has a more significant impact on the user's acceptance willingness;when the body of the service robot is anthropomorphic, the impact of perceived competence on the user's accept-ance willingness is more prominent. At the same time, the user's emotional experience plays a mediating role in this process, especially in the face anthropomorphic situation of the service robot, the user's pleasure as the media-ting effect between perceived warmth and acceptance willingness is more significant.
