University museums serve as crucial platforms for universities to fulfill their fundamental task of fos-tering virtue through education.Integrating the resources related to the history of revolution in university museums into ideological and political education for college students provides strong spiritual support and ideological engines,enabling students to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and cultivate their patriotism.Taking the museum of the in-augural issue of the Chinese library journals at Luoyang Normal University as a sample,this paper proposes the im-plementation path to fully utilize the educational advantages of the resources to carry out ideological and political ed-ucation for college students.Firstly,identify the precise positioning to firmly grasp the correct political direction.Secondly,it is necessary to make scientific planning to integrate the resources related to the history of revolution in university museums into ideological and political education.Lastly,it is necessary to tell stories related to the histo-ry of revolution to guide students to support the CPC and establish the correct viewpoint on world,life and values.
