An Analysis on High-quality Development of Rural Elementary Education Empowered by Public Reading Space
Under the background of all-round rural revitalization,it is necessary for public reading space as the supplement of school education to empower rural elementary education.The theories of Educational Ecology and Sociological Empowerment provide theoretical guidance for public reading space to empower rural elementary educa-tion.Current evidences show that rural teachers and students urgently need high-quality educational resources.As an important supplementary educational resource,public reading space can promote the joint development of rural elementary education and public cultural services.The results show that we can take three measures to promote the high-quality development of local public cultural services and rural elementary education.Firstly,we should attract social forces to meet the needs for high-quality public reading space operation and service.Secondly,we should co-ordinate the construction of the"family+school+community"education system to form a synergistic force for the high-quality development of rural basic education.Lastly,we should give attention to the demand and supply of digital resources in rural basic education,adhere to the equal emphasis on resource integration and sharing,and re-duce the cost for teachers and students in rural schools to access and use educational resources.
