As one of the local universities in the former revolutionary base area of west Fujian,Longyan University is a talent highland in Longyan City,providing important talent support for Longyan.These supports include the industrial prosperity,scientific and technological progress,cultural inheritance,and the realization of the strategic goal of strengthening the city with talents.At present,there are problems in the talent development of Longyan University.These problems include lack of overall planning,weak talent attraction and lack of cohesion,weak talent transformation ability and talent disconnect,imbalance between supply and demand of local university graduates and weak willingness to serve the local area.Based on the concept of talent work,it is urgent to anchor targeting of talent cultivation,grasp the"fixed star"of talent selection,build a"resource pool"for attracting talents and create a"bank"for retaining talents.It is also urgent to release the"new dynamic energy"of talents.In order to realize the high-quality development of talent work in local universities,the talent support for the construction of high-quality development demonstration zones in west Fujian should be provided.
