Phonetic Change Caused by Dialect Contact of Hakka Dialect in Qingyuan,Guangdong
According to the materials obtained from the field research,the initial consonant,finals and tone of some words in Qingyuan Hakka dialect are different from those in general Hakka,for example:some MC voiced initials are unaspirated,consonants of jian mu are often read as[kh],the vowel of li read as broad sound,the pronunciation of wang has no-i-preposition,it has rhymes containing a rounded front vowel,high and level tone is a high level 55,the falling-rising tone characters with voiced initials which merged into high and level tone is decreasing.Based on the relevant research results of Cantonese dialect,this paper sorts out the clues that cause these phonetic changes in Hakka dialect in Qingyuan and provides linguistic facts for the study of contact phonetic changes.
